Our Process
Your quality custom framing begins with a complimentary design consultation and quotation.
When you bring in your artwork or object for framing, we will discuss where your finished product will be hanging, what your décor and style is, whether conservation is a priority and what your overall objective is.
We have a myriad of framing options and will work with you to ensure the final design choice best suits your artwork, requirements and style.
1. Design Consultation
Once the design is finalised and the quote accepted, your artwork will be expertly framed on-site to exacting standards, using high quality materials and craftsmanship.
Where conservation is a priority, archival quality products including mattboards, backings and glass will be used.
2. Quality Custom Framing
Your framing will be expertly finished and ready to hang. The back will be sealed for protection, with appropriate hanging wire to support the weight of your piece. Felt bumpers will also be added to stop movement of your artwork, to protect your walls and to provide air flow.
Your custom framing will usually be ready within two weeks, with an express service available on request*.
We will contact you when your work is ready for collection, or for those larger pieces we can arrange delivery by our expert art courier service.
3. Finished Product
Our staff will provide you with information and guidance on how best to hang your finished product. We stock a range of hooks to suit different wall types and artwork sizes and weights.
We are stockists for the Arti-teq hanging system which is the perfect way to hang your artwork without damaging walls.
If you are unsure about hanging your own artwork, we can provide a professional picture hanging service, ensuring your artwork is installed and displayed perfectly.
